Even though I despise the buzz and the term a little, I’m using it to get you guys to read on to this article on Microsoft’s IEBlog.

Sunava Dutta (Program Manager for the Internet Explorer team) talks about a native XMLHTTPRequest (like Safari, Mozilla, … offer) in Internet Explorer 7. This will make web development once again a bit less complicated. Big up for “standards” and adopting them. Really can’t wait for it.

This year is the year of the webshop. I’ve completed already two projects where we deployed a shop written in PHP, sitting on a MySQL backend. And since I had to deal with a sorting issue twice last week, I decided to write a tutorial on the topic.
