What is The 9?

“Early each weekday morning, Maria Sansone and the 9 Team scour every inch of the world wide web and find the 9 best, weirdest, and funniest photos, sites, stories, and videos on the ‘net. Jul 2 UPS tracking and GMail Posted at 9:00 am | 1 Comment »

I spotted this the other day - a UPS tracking number inside an email in Google Mail got converted into a link which allows me to track the package with a single mouseclick.

Since I use Google Mail for some of my email communication, I noticed that it seems to be so easy for them to roll out useful features. They don’t need to add any of the cool web2.0 effects, blogs or social networks on their email, but whatever they add is useful. Simplicity adds value.
