Well, another Black Friday is upon us. For those of you that work in retail, I offer you my condolences for having to deal with all the crazies out there. For those of you in parts of the world other than the U.S., I apologize for making such a localized post. For those of you crazy enough to run out and brave the crowds to find some insane deals, I salute you.
My wife and I wanted to go shopping together, but, unfortunately, we couldn’t find anyone crazy enough to sit our kids at 3:30 in the morning, so she went out by herself. While I was waiting for her to return, I spent some time online checking out the various deals.
While I was surfing around the Web sites of most of the major retailers, I came across a nice diversion on Target’s Web site. Target offers a little mini-game for its customers to play while shopping online. It’s a “race to Target” Flash game. I don’t know how long the game will be up on their Web site, but you should check it out if it’s still available. The best part is, if you play the game, you can enter for a chance to win a Target gift card.
Below is a video of my attempt at the game. I’m guessing that, no matter what you do in the game, you’ll eventually end up at Target, but who knows.
